We're back at home in Hong Kong with some wonderful memories of our Experienceit tour of Morocco which went without a hitch right from the start to the finish. We have no doubt that the success of the trip was in no small way due to the tireless efforts of our driver/guide Namir. He is an individual that truly enjoys his work and that was communicated to us in a myriad of small ways. (Even finding some shoelaces in the medina when mine gave way) The itinerary based on your 13 day tour gave us an opportunity to see virtually all of the country and to experience the culture of the people on a first hand basis.
 
While in Fez, Namir was gracious enough to invite us to his home where we had the opportunity to meet his lovely wife, experience a lunch of some of the best Cous Cous ever and to enjoy the antics of his two beautiful daughters. A truly happy family.
 
We did make a significant purchase of a fossil table which will be shipped after completion and Namir has personally offered to make sure that all goes well in our absence. Truly, effort above and beyond the call of duty.
 
A note of appreciation to Paul Brown for allowing us to integrate a side trip to Barcelona from Marrakech and then get back on the original itinerary for our journey back home from Casablanca.
 
The local guides in Fez and Marrakech did an excellent job of guiding our way through the medinas although we did feel that Nouri (sp?) was more interested in us as people and what was important to us than Hakim.
 
In closing, again we can't say enough about Namir's efforts to make the trip one of the most enjoyable we have ever taken. It's almost as if he personally arranged the sunsets on the Sahara which were breathtaking.
